Hi, I'm Jessica!
I started Guided Path Bookkeeping because I know firsthand how overwhelming the financial side of running a business can be — and I genuinely love helping small business owners take back their time and finally feel confident about where their business stands.
My accounting journey started in corporate accounting, where I spent 9 years sharpening my skills before moving into public accounting. Along the way, I built a deep understanding of what businesses actually need from their books — not just compliance, but clarity and a path forward.
With 10+ years in accounting, I offer a full range of bookkeeping services — from bank and general ledger reconciliation to financial statements, job costing, and cash flow management. I help new businesses get set up the right way from day one, and I'm no stranger to cleaning up books that have gotten off track. Whatever your starting point, I've got you covered.
My specialty in trades and equestrian businesses isn't accidental — it's personal. I grew up in a trades family, so I understand the hustle, the project cycles, and the unique financial challenges that come with that world. And horses? That's my passion too. I own a horse and volunteer with multiple equine organizations, so when an equestrian business owner sits down with me, we already speak the same language. When I'm not buried in spreadsheets, you'll find me outside — whether that's on a trail ride, hiking, cross country skiing, or running. I'm an outdoors person at heart, and I bring that same energy and drive to everything I do.
I have extensive experience working in QuickBooks, but I'm not a one-size-fits-all bookkeeper. Every business is different, and I'm always happy to explore other platforms that might be a better fit for you — whether that's Xero, FreshBooks, Wave, or something else entirely. The goal is finding tools that make your life easier.
